Shazam: Fury of the Gods

  • WB kicked off their panel with Zachary Levi and Shazam: Fury of the Gods
  • The panel showed a clip featuring Rachel Zegler‘s character
  • Fury of the Gods will be set a few years after the first film, making the Shazam family established heroes in the DCEU
  • The film’s villains will be the Daughters of Atlas, including Helen Mirren and Lucy Liu
  • The first trailer debuted during the panel
  • Jack Dylan Glazer joined the panel in person
  • Helen Mirren and Rachel Zegler joined virtually
  • Panel debuts first-look images for Zegler’s character
  • Levi says he hopes to get the chance to make a third Shazam film
  • Fury of the Gods will release December 21 in theaters

Black Adam

Black Adam
  • Dwayne Johnson kicks off the Black Adam portion of the panel with a lightning and smoke entrance
  • Jaume Collet-Serra, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, and Quintessa Swindell join the panel live
  • WB finished a full cut of Black Adam just yesterday and screened it for the cast
  • Johnson said he hopes Black Adam will serve as a relaunching point for DC and a way to build up the Justice Society
  • Viola Davis will return as Amanda Waller in the movie
  • The panel debuted the first footage of the film
  • Johnson is providing everyone in Hall H an IMAX ticket to see Black Adam
